Linking TL with poppler?

Hello,

sorry, dumb question.

I'm wondering if there is still support for linking the relevant TL 
binaries (pdftex & pdftosrc) dynamically with poppler. By looking at 
m4/kpse-xpdf-flags.m4 I'd say this is not the case. The option 
--with-system-poppler is gone and --with-system-xpdf might work, but the 
resulting binary is linked statically with some kind of library.

Please confirm. Thanks!
