Low download speed on TeX Live Unix installation

Dear Ionuț,
I can reproduce your problem.  It's https://mirrors.nxthost.com/ which
is extremely slow.

Please try

  ./install-tl --location https://ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de/pub/mirror/tex-archive/systems/texlive/tlnet

After installation execute

  tlmgr option repository https://ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de/pub/mirror/tex-archive/systems/texlive/tlnet

to make sure that 'tlmgr update' uses the same mirror.

You might want to download from a mirror nearby instead of from one in
Germany.  You'll find a list of mirrors here:

  http://dante.ctan.org/mirmon

but you should avoid nxthost.com.
