{Graphics with \TikZ\ and beyond} {Stefan Kottwitz} {Today, \TeX\ shines at graphics. That's especially by virtue of the \TikZ\ graphics front-end and \PGF\ back-end. \TikZ\ provides an eminently user-friendly coding interface. Built on top of that, there are packages that make creating graphics a breeze. We can generate fine graphics with just a few commands and options, still with the power of \PGF/\TikZ\ for fine-tuning. This talk shows syntax examples and many pictures with source code. It demonstrates how simple code can generate complex fine graphics: diagrams, charts, trees, plots, and scientific drawings for maths, biology, chemistry, physics, electronics, and computer science. }
