The version of the complete package is 1.726 with latest changes to
the files ntxsym.tfm and ntxbsym.tfm, as stated in README.
The different style files have its own version numbers:
bash-3.2$ grep -A1 -m1 fileversion `kpsewhich newtx.sty`
\def\fileversion{1.724}
\def\filedate{2023/08/20}
bash-3.2$ grep -A1 -m1 fileversion `kpsewhich newtxmath.sty`
\def\fileversion{1.723}
