[OS X TeX] some Intel iMac "benchmarks"

Gary,

if you have the time: what I'd be interested in is how a Rosetta  
application like Illustrator handles copy and drag events, e.g., from  
Preview, TeXShop, or perhaps Mathematica. I've heard stories about  
crashes and sluggish response... but I don't have an Intel Mac yet,  
so it would be great if someone could refute or confirm these rumors.
